ENV Sector provides services to approach environmental topics during the design and operations of plants and infrastructures. ENV operates mainly in the field of process industry (Oil&Gas, Chemistry, Energy), manufacturing, transportation, land use planning. Main services are related to the Environmental impact Assessment, Strategic Environmental Assessment, modelling and monitoring of environmental factors (noise, vibration, air pollution, etc.). Working in collaboration with the others RAMS&E Sectors, ENV supports the Customer during the design, construction and authorisations of new plants or revamping of existing ones.
This Sector provides a support to the Customer, both during design and operations, to guarantee regulation compliance for the environmental topics, by modelling, monitoring, the suggestion of innovative technical solutions, the setting of appropriate Environmental Management Systems, audits and the relationships with Authorities.
The Technical Manager and responsible for the ENV Sector is eng. Mauro Montrucchio.

The RAM Sector provides studies for Reliability and Availability assessment, Maintenance Engineering, Asset Management, Functional Safety (according to IEC/EN 61508 and to all the derived regulations IEC/EN 61511, IEC/EN 61513, IEC/EN 50128, IEC/EN 50129, IEC/EN 62061, etc.). This Sector mainly operates in the field of process industry (Oil&Gas, Chemistry, Energy), manufacturing, rail transportation (vehicles and infrastructures),. Services are provided to Engineering Companies designing plants and complex systems, or plants in operations that intend to optimize their processes by Risk-Based (Reliability Centered) Maintenance, Risk Based Inspections and by the application of prognostic tools to estimate the residual life of systems and components.
The responsible for the RAM Sector is eng. Michele Piccini, PhD.
The Process Safety sector provides engineering and consultancy services for the process industry (Oil & Gas Upstream and Downstream, Energy, Chemistry, Refinery) and deals with the Risk Assessment related to the presence, storage and handling of dangerous substances (flammable and toxic materials). The Process Safety provides specialist services for the identification, analysis, prevention and management of fires, explosions and accidental chemical releases in the chemical and process industry. Our services aim to support Clients, during both the design and Operation & Maintenance phase, in the selection, sizing or verification of preventive and mitigative barriers in order to minimize the Risk for Safety, Environment and Asset. Process Safety sector includes the quantitative risk analysis such as QRA (including also Dropped Object, Ship Collision, Transportation risk), FERA (Fire and Explosion Risk Assessment), EERA (Escape, Evacuation, and Rescue Analysis), Consequences analysis (Vent Radiation Study and Vent / Exhaust dispersion) mainly applied in the Oil & Gas sector.
The Process Safety sector also includes all the services related to Process Hazards Analysis (HAZID, ENVID, HAZOP, What if, LOPA Analysis, SIMOPS, Bow-Tie etc.) managed with a team (Chairman and Scribe) of consolidated experience in various industrial sectors for Clients in Italy and abroad.
The responsible for the Process Safety Sector is eng. Luca Portè
